I had a mixed experience at Hotel Sonya. The location is fantastic, being just a short walk from major attractions, which made my sightseeing easy. However, the service left a lot to be desired; I encountered unfriendly staff and issues with room cleanliness. The room itself was cozy, but I struggled with poor air conditioning during my stay.

The room was comfortable and clean, but I experienced issues with the air conditioning. It didn't work efficiently during the hot days I was there, which was quite a letdown. Also, the layout felt cramped at times, making it hard to move around comfortably.
Service

I found the staff unhelpful and somewhat rude. When I raised concerns about my room and the lack of responsiveness, I was met with sarcasm rather than support. This really affected my overall impression of the hotel.

The location was definitely a highlight for me. Being just a five-minute walk from Termini station made it super convenient for exploring Rome. Plus, there were nice restaurants and cafés very close by, which was great.
Dining

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to the overall cleanliness vibe, but there were several lovely dining options nearby. I enjoyed my meals at local spots, which turned out to be a good alternative.
Facilities

The facilities seemed fairly basic, though the antique lift added a unique touch. I wish there had been better maintenance of the elevator doors and more attention to cleanliness in shared areas.

I had a largely positive experience at Hotel Sonya. The location was fantastic, making it easy to walk to major attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room could have been cleaner, and I encountered some issues with the payment system. Still, the comfortable bed and good breakfast made for a nice visit overall.

The hotel offered basic facilities, although I faced some hiccups with their payment system which was frustrating. The antique lift added some charm, but it wasn't always reliable.

My stay at Hotel Sonya was quite pleasant overall. The location was excellent, making it easy to walk to major attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially Silvio and Alessandra. However, the rooms were a bit smaller than expected, with some minor issues like noise from the street. Still, for the price, it offered great value.

My stay at Hotel Sonya was quite pleasant overall. The location was a major highlight, being super close to major attractions and the train station. While the breakfast could’ve been better, the friendly staff and clean rooms made up for it. I'd stay again but I’d probably look for a more substantial breakfast option nearby.
